Kenneth W. Boughner, age 85 of Skanee, Michigan passed away on Friday, November 29th, 2024 at UP Health System Marquette, Michigan.
He was born October 13, 1939 in Pontiac, MI son of Charles and Ida (Edwards) Boughner. Ken grew up in Gaylord, MI. He married the former Sharon Moyer in 1961 in Gaylord. Ken was a self employed logger. In 2001, they moved to Skanee and retired.
Ken was a member of the L’Anse Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and loved his family dearly.
Surviving are his wife Sharon Boughner of Skanee; children, Lori (Mike) Durling of Gaylord, Todd (Johanna) Boughner of Gaylord, Shannon (Barbara) Boughner of Wolverine, MI; brothers James (Kay) Boughner of Gaylord, Daniel (Charmaine) Boughner of Gaylord, sister Jean (David) Yonkers of L’Anse; brother-in-law Darryl Fleming of Gaylord; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Preceding him in death are his parents Charles and Ida; brother Charles Boughner; and sister-in-law Jody Fleming.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Jacobson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
