Kenneth L. Johns

Went to his heavenly home with family by his side on December 16, 2021.

Born on February 27, 1952 in Laurium to Stanley & Esther (Lamppa) Johns

‘KJ’ was loved by all. He loved his Lord and Savior. He was feisty and had a will of iron that allowed him to battle MS for decades. His sickness never broke his spirit.

Kenny enjoyed horse-riding especially pole bending and barrel racing with his Grand Champion Grandette. He loved playing hockey, the Packers, Red Wings & President Trump.

Survived by fiancé Bing Delos Reyes Celorio of the Philippines; three sons Jeremy (Heather) Johns of Newport, MI, Jesse (Holly) Johns of Oakridge, TN, Justin (Melissa) Johns of Nashville, TN; Grandchildren Jase, Savannah, Kurtis, Yazmine, Jesse Jr & Bonnie; 2 brothers Michael (Sande) Johns of Mayflower, Dale (Linda) Johns of Mayflower; 7 sisters Sandra (Paul) Keranen of Lake Linden, Patsy (Tim) Griffin of Lake Linden, Lorna Beauchamp (Mike Codere) of Lake Linden, Tina (Peter) Dupuis of Bootjack, Candy (Paul) Webb of Ashland, WI, Jill (Bob) Posey of Gay & Heidi (Chris) Stoumbos of Portland, OR. Several nieces, nephews & cousins. A life long and faithful friend Bobby Buzzo. Former spouse and mother of his sons, Valerie Taylor.

Preceded in death by his parents, infant brother Johnny & brother-in-law Art Petaja.
