Kazimier “Kaz” Pindral, 77, a resident of Painesdale, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at MediLodge of Clare, MI with his loving daughter Shannon and Son-in-law Rob by his side.
Kaz was born on July 22, 1947, in Emsdetten, Germany, to the late Jozef and Jozefa (Kowalska) Pindral. Around age 4, the family relocated to the United States and settled in Painesdale. He attended South Range and Painesdale Schools.
In December of 1966, he was united in marriage to the former Dianne DeRosier. She preceded him in death on August 22, 2009.
In 1968, Kaz enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he honorably served in Vietnam.
When he returned home, he began to raise his family. He worked in the White Pine mine, was a member of the Pipefitters Local 111, and owned and operated Superior Images in the Copper Country Mall.
Besides his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by his son Marc and a brother Walter.

Aimee (Chris) Pindral
Shannon (Rob) Johnson
Tony Pindral
Jessica (Shaun) Supanich
Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is further survived by his siblings Maria Saari, Chester (Deb) Pindral, and Christine Snell, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service with military honors will take place in the spring at the Mt. View Cemetery in South Range.
