Kathleen M. Gribble, age 84 formerly of L’Anse, MI passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Bay Vue Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bradenton, Florida.
She was born March 19, 1937 in L’Anse, MI daughter of Albert and Ragna (Andersen) Schumacher. She married Thomas Gribble in L’Anse in October 1957 and they resided in the Detroit area, moving to Pequaming, MI in 1985 after Tom retired. Kay was a member of the L’Anse Methodist Church while she resided in L’Anse. They had been wintering in Bradenton, FL for 10 years prior to permanently moving there in 2015. Her beloved husband preceded her in death in 2018. Her only sister, Ethyl LeClaire preceded her in death in 2013. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 20, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the L’Anse Evergreen Cemetery. Jacobson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
