Joyce Evelyn VanNorman of Allouez passed away on September 17, 2024 at Canal View Houghton County.
Joyce was born on June 2, 1937 to Yalmer Alatalo and Evelyn Frisk.
Joyce worked as a prep cook, dish washer and housekeeper in the area until her retirement.
Joyce loved going to church, cooking, building puzzles, playing solitaire, watching: Judge Judy, Law and Order and game shows. She cherished the time she spent with her family and playing games with her grandkids.
Joyce met the love of her life, Clarence VanNorman and they married.
Joyce is preceded in death by her First Husband William Kaiser, parents Yalmer and Evelyn, her second husband Clarence VanNorman, sister Jean, brothers: Richard and John and a grandson Christopher Klich.
Joyce is survived her children: Clifford (Candy) Kaiser, Denise (Wayne) Heffner, Katherine (Ernie) Klich, Deborah Kaiser, Michelle Jurmu, Robert VanNorman, Billy (Teri) VanNorman and Scott VanNorman. Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Sisters: Barbara Bond and Kathy Schubert
A service will be held at Erickson-Crowley-Peterson Funeral Home at 6:00pm on Tuesday, September 24, 2024. A visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00pm at Erickson-Crowley-Peterson Funeral Home.
