Obituary: Joseph Anders “Jarbo” Paquette

Joseph Anders “Jarbo” Paquette, age 77 of L’Anse, MI passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at U.P. Health System Marquette, MI.

He was born May 31, 1942 in L’Anse, MI son of Paul and Agnes (Erickson) Paquette. Joe worked as a union construction worker until 1977 when he became disabled in an accident. He loved to ride Harley-Davidson motorcycles his entire life. He loved hunting until his health prevented him from doing so. Joe had more lives than 9 cats combined and stunned multiple doctors over the years!  He also loved spending time with his grand kids and great grand kids.

Surviving are his son Joseph Paquette Jr of Anacortes, WA; daughter Tammy (Justin) Nettell of Dodgeville, MI; significant other Elaine Franti of L’Anse; grandchildren, Olivia Paquette, Sarah Paquette, Joseph Paquette III, Jerald Fish Jr, James Fish; great grandchildren Jerald Fish III, Kara Fish, and Kylie Fish; numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Preceding him in death are his parents and brother Paul “Mike” Paquette.

There will be no funeral service at this time. Jacobson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
