Lake Linden: John Crouch, 66, longtime resident of Lake Linden, passed away in Rochester, Minnesota on November 6, 2020, after a long battle with cancer.
He was born on April 23, 1954, a son of Leonard and Lucille (Zubiena) Crouch. He graduated from Lake Linden-Hubbell High School in 1972. He later attended Suomi College in Hancock.
John worked at the Houghton County Sheriff’s Department in corrections for 17 years.
He was married to Paula Goldsworthy on November 8, 2012 in Lake Linden. They were together for 34 amazing, wonderful, fun years.
John loved to hunt and fish, hang out with his granddaughters, and go for rides on 4-wheelers. He enjoyed watching football, baseball, Nascar, and hockey.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, sister-Debra (Richard) Beiring, brothers-in-law-Larry Rheault and Fred Testa, infant brother-Brad, and nephew-John.
He is survived by: his wife-Paula; son-Jason (Miranda)Crouch; 2 granddaughters-Camryn Lucy and Elliott Marie; 7 brothers and sisters-Lennet (Dave) Piippo, Sandy Rheault, Drew (Amee) Crouch, Randy (Kathy) Crouch, Sherry (Peter) Stevens, Chris (Nancy) Crouch, and JoAnn Testa; uncle-Ron (Janice) Crouch; aunt-Josephine Zubiena; grand-dog-Jordy; mother and father-in-law- Clem and Lyne Goldsworthy; sister-in-law-Cindy (Dwaine) Mellen; brothers-in-law-Jim (Julie) Goldsworthy and Randy Goldsworthy; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends
The graveside service will at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Lake Linden with Father Joseph Boakye Yiadom to officiate.
The Peace Funeral Home in Lake Linden is in charge of arrangements.
