Obituary: JoAnn Krug

Our mother, JoAnn Krug, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at the age of 77.

A loving wife, mom was married to our father, Ralph, for 57 years. During those years together, they
were blessed with two sons, Steven (wife Mary Ann) and Anthony and one daughter, Lisa. They also
shared a life filled with many different adventures together, including 10 plus years living “the island
life” in St. Croix, U.S.V.I. Eventually returning to the U.P. to be with their children and grandchildren.

JoAnn is the daughter of the late Ezra and Viola of Waukesha WI. She is survived by her husband, 3
children, 3 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 2 sisters, Marge and Rita.

Those that knew mom best will always be reminded of her big happy smile and infectious laugh.

Funeral services will be held at Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Houghton Michigan on Saturday,
August 13th . Visitation starts at 11 am with the funeral service at 1 pm. The family request that in lieu of
sending flowers or other gifts that you make a Memorial in JoAnn’s name to:

Mom, even though we wish we could have had more time together, there will always be a part of you in
