Obituary: Jamie Robert Reed

Jamie Robert Reed, age 42 of L’Anse, MI passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 7, 2021 in Windsor, WI.

He was born June 1, 1978 in L’Anse, MI son of Robert and Cynthia (Snyder) Reed. Jamie graduated from L’anse High School in 1996. He worked at Pettibone and then traveled throughout the United States as a cable worker. He always took pride in his work and worked very hard. In 2018, He started his own business, USPAC (utility service power and cable) in the Wisconsin Area. He was a member of the Electricians Union 2150, Milwaukee, WI. Jamie was very dedicated and prideful of his work. He appreciated and cared for all his employees and co-workers as if they were his family.

When Jamie wasn’t working, he was enjoying the outdoors as he would love to ride in the woods and especially had a passion for fishing. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Jamie enjoyed watching and supporting his favorite football team the Green Bay Packers. He would always mention that his nieces and nephews were his passion, along with his two sons Brayden and Bryce.

Surviving are Amy Forcia, Fiance and sons Brayden and Bryce of Sheboygan, WI; mother Cynthia Reed of L’Anse; sisters, Jenny (Fred Cote) Reed of L’Anse, Krystal (Todd) Heikkinen of Ishpeming, MI; nieces, Cheyanne Cote, Emma Cote, Cleora Cote. Lindsay (Cote) Pearsall, Alexcis Heikkinen; nephews, Reid Cote, Dale Cote, Johnathon Cote, Freddy Cote, and Nolan Heikkinen; aunt Barbara Nankervis (Phillip) Skanee, MI; uncles, Jerry Niemi of L’Anse, Robert Snyder (Boopie) of L’Anse, Phillip Snyder of WI; and several cousins

He is preceded in death by his father Robert Reed; grandparents Melvin and Grace Reed, Marian and Jack Snyder; aunts, Sharon Niemi, Annette Niemi, and Sandra Reed; and cousin Lori Niemi.

A memorial service will he held on Friday, May 28th at 7:00 p.m. at Jacobson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m.. Jacobson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
