James (Jim) Hilding Taube of Calumet, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, surrounded by family at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, Wisconsin following a short illness.
Jim was born on November 19, 1970, to Dan Taube and Marianne (White) Taube at Calumet Public Hospital in Laurium, Michigan. He graduated high school in Berlin, Wisconsin 1989 and came back to the U.P. Jim was a jack of all trades, having worked at Fort Wilkins, Econo Foods, Perkins, with his favorite time spent as a cook at the now closed Evergreen Restaurant.
Jim was a quiet soul with an oddball sense of humor and would love to catch you off guard with an off-the-wall comment, joke, or just by making a goofy face. He loved his family and friends and will be missed by many.
He is survived by his father, Dan Taube, mother Marianne White, sister Susan Clayton, nieces Rachel and Megan Clayton, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
No services are planned at this time. A celebration of life is to be determined at a later date. Condolences can be relayed to the family through the Erickson-Crowley-Peterson Funeral Home website www.ericksoncrowleypeterson.com.
