Hancock: James Michael Kyllonen, 51, a longtime resident of the Copper Country, passed away on Monday, June 21, 2021 at U.P. Health System- Marquette Hospital from natural causes.
Jim was born on March 31, 1970 to Dennis and Eleanore (Beljian) Kyllonen. He attended Hancock Schools and graduated in 1988. After graduation he worked at various jobs in construction and carpentry. He could fix just about anything being a “jack of all trades and master of some.” He enjoyed cooking, rock hounding, and mushroom hunting. Jim had a clever wit and a wonderful sense of humor.
Jim is survived by his parents; his daughter Angela Kyllonen and son, Trevor Kyllonen; grandchildren Wynnie, Willow, and Teagan; a brother Curtis (Kim) Kyllonen of Circle Pines, Minnesota; and a sister Christine (Orlando) Venegas of Ripley.
James will be deeply missed by his family and close friends.
