James H. “Jim” Liberty, age 84, passed away Friday, June 8, 2018 at D.J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans in Marquette, Michigan. He was born in Baraga, MI on July 21, 1933 the son of the late Harry and Marion S (Schwalm) Liberty
Jim graduated from high school in Detroit, MI. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Era. Jim worked in the armored car industry as a security guard. He enjoyed fishing and participating in the Baraga Honor Guard.
A military service will take place at a later date. For more information please contact Larry Hebert at 906-524-8846. Interment will take place in the Baraga Cemetery, Baraga, MI.
Arrangements for Mr. Liberty have been entrusted to the Reid Funeral Service and Chapel, L’Anse, Michigan.
