Jacob William Gleason, age 19 of Houghton, MI, formerly of Muskegon, MI passed away on January 7, 2018 in Niagara, WI.
He was born December 17, 1998 in Muskegon, MI son of Karl Gleason and Amy Darcy. Jake last attended Iona High School in 2017 and received his High School Diploma from Douglas R. Welch High School also in Ionia Mi. In Muskegon Jake attended Reeth-puffer High School. He loved playing video games with his dad and brother, skateboarding, photographing, and was very proud of his Volkswagen “Jetta” diesel. Jake was fun loving and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his father Karl Gleason of Muir, MI, his mother Amy Darcy of Whitehall, MI; his loving older brother Thomas of Houghton, MI; a very special nephew, Thomas Jacob, whom he loved very much and loved Uncle Jake; fraternal grandmother Shirley of Ionia, MI; maternal grandparents, Tom & Marlene Darcy of Baraga; and great grandmother Leona Andrews.
Relatives and friends may call at the Jacobson Funeral Home from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, January 15, 2018. Interment will take place in the Baraga Cemetery in the Spring.
