UPDATE: A graveside service with military honors will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at 9 am in the Lake View Cemetery in Calumet, Michigan, section 75.
Gregory Francis Bracco, 89, passed away peacefully December 6th, 2022 at Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital in Laurium, Michigan.
Born April 4, 1933, to Anton and Mary (Hrovatich) Bracco in Raymbaultown, Michigan.
He married Gracia Hebbard on October 27, 1956, in Calumet, Michigan.
Gregory worked at C&H and later with the Houghton County Road Commission. He volunteered with the National Guard and the Calumet Township Fire Department.
Gregory enjoyed going for daily rides with his wife.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Anton and Mary, brothers Robert and Paul, and brother-in-law Buck Viola and son-in-law Steve Barkell.
He is survived by his sons Gary (Kim) Bracco, George (Sandy) Bracco, and daughters Gail (Robert Howell) Perala, and Gina Barkell, nine grandchildren, and 20 great-grandkids.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022, at 7:00 PM at the Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home in Calumet with Deacon Jeremiah Mason to officiate. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home on Monday, December 12th. Burial will be in the Lake View Cemetery.
