Grace Outinen, 84, a resident of Allouez, passes away peacefully on January 11, 2022 at Canal-View Houghton County with Steve & Sherry by her side.
Grace was born in Laurium on January 1, 1938, to the late Arthur and Ina (Makolin) Myntti.
She attended Calumet Schools.
On October 15, 1955 she was married to Robert Outinen and he preceded her in death on October 25, 2018.
She worked as the reservation clerk for the Keweenaw Mountain Lodge for 27 years retiring in 2004.
Grace enjoyed skiing, going for walks, baking and in her retirement years traveling with her husband Bob and Joe and Lenore Enrietti.
She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Outinen, granddaughter Jill Outinen, sisters Marie and Margaret, brother John Myntti.
Surviving are: sons: Steve (Sherry) Outinen of Ahmeek
Mark (Mary) Outinen of Kalamazoo
Grandchildren: Kevin (Kim) Outinen of Midland, MI
Joe Outinen of Milwaukee, WI
and Tom Outinen student at Michigan Tech
Great Grandchildren: Callie and Aiden Outinen
Sister: Jean Crum of Florida
Close friend Joe Enrietti of Mohawk
Private family services will be held at the Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home in Calumet with Pastor Bryan Lundquist to officiate.
Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Ahmeek.
