Frances Carlson, age 81, passed away on July 19, 2022, at Mission Point from a long illness.
She was born on May 20, 1941 to Frank and Vernita Klarich in Laurium, Michigan.
She attended Calumet Schools and graduated with the class of 1960.
On September 10, 1960 she was married to Davis R. Carlson in Calumet. They had two children.
She was employed for 23 years at Calumet Electronics Corporation and then at Bucko’s party store.
She was proceeded in death by her husband Davis, parents, brothers Frank Jr. Daniel, Kenneth and by sister Sharon Chopp.
She was survived by daughter Debra (Charles) and son Eric. Grandchildren: Ava Jean Carlson and Liam Charles Davis Carlson of Hancock. Also, her brother David Klarich of Calumet and Auntie Barbara Kausie of Calumet. Surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins.
We’d like to thank the UPCAP staff and aides, Dr. Bonnie Hafeman, the staff at Mission Point of Hancock for their wonderful care they gave to Frances.
Frances wanted to be cremated with no services. Burial will take place in the Lakeview Cemetery.
The Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home will be assisting the family with arrangements.
