Florence A. Kinonen, age 85, of Baraga, MI passed away Wednesday November 25, 2020 at Bayside Village, L’Anse. She was born in Copper City, MI on July 28, 1935 the daughter of the late John and Katherine (Roskilly) Peters. Florence attended school in Copper City. She married Arthur Kinonen in Calumet, MI in 1952. He preceded her in death. Florence was a member of the Salvation Army. She enjoyed reading, computers, light houses and puzzles.
Florence is survived by her loving children Janice (Roger) Koski of Keweenaw Bay and Arthur (Jan) Kinonen of Idaho, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, sister Ruth Wozniack of Kentucky, and friend Melissa Treadeau of Baraga. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Graveside services and interment will take place at 10:00 a.m.in the Keweenaw Bay Cemetery on Monday, November 30, 2020 with Pastor Julie Belew officiating.
