A Memorial service for Esther Elizabeth (Glascock) Keeling, 92, of Houghton, MI, who passed away Friday March 1, 2019, at the Omega House. Will be held 11:00 am Saturday April 27, 2019, at Grace United Methodist Church in Houghton, with Pastor Chuck Williams officiating. Final resting place will be the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery in Montgomery County, IN.
Friends may call on Saturday April 27, 2019, from 10 am until time of services at Grace United Methodist Church of Houghton.

Esther Elizabeth (Glascock) Keeling, 92, of Houghton, MI, passed away Friday March 1, 2019, at the Omega House where she had been a resident patient since October.
Born August 12, 1926, in Veedersburg, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Clara (McCalment) Glascock. Esther was raised in Veedersburg, IN and graduated from Veedersburg High School in 1944.
On August 18, 1946, she married her high school sweetheart, Rolland Otis Keeling Jr., who preceded her in death in 2000. During their 54 years of marriage, the couple lived briefly in Crawfordsville, IN, State College, PA, and Oakmont, PA, before making their home in Houghton, MI, where Rolland was on faculty at Michigan Technological University. They had two children, Stephen Duane, who preceded her in death in 1997, and Cynthia Sue, who survives.
Mrs. Keeling was an active member of the Grace United Methodist Church since 1961. She was a member of the Houghton Hancock chapter of the women’s philanthropic organization P.E.O., was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) national society, and was an avid bridge player, cross-sticher, quilter, and enjoyed playing golf.
Preceding her in death were her husband, her parents, her son, her brother Gerald Glascock, and two grandsons Christopher and Matthew Yotti.
Surviving are her daughter, Cynthia (Rick) Yotti of Williamsburg, VA, daughter-in-law Marilyn Hein Keeling of New Symrna Beach, FL, granddaughter Stephanie Keeling (Pat) Pou of Alpharetta, GA, granddaughter Lori Ann Keeling of Durham, NC, grandson Brian Duane Keeling of Slocomb, AL, and great-grandchildren Truman and Keely Pou of Alpharetta, GA, and Sophia Keeling of Slocomb, AL.
