Elizabeth “Betty” Laura Muzzin, 95, went home to be with her beloved, late husband Arthur on March 8, 2023 in Hubbell Michigan. Betty was born as Elizabeth L. Rule in Laurium, Michigan on July 14, 1927, which is where she was raised until adulthood. That is when she met an engineering student from the local college Michigan Tech University named Arthur Muzzin. They fell in love and after he graduated they moved to serval places including Alaska where their oldest child Victor was born. They then moved to Allen Park where they had six more children. Betty was a very caring woman who enjoyed travel and spending time with family and friends. She was an excellent cook who made everyone she met feel like family. She loved to garden and knit; she also taught herself how to play the piano.
She was the mother of Victor (Deborah) Muzzin, Christine Passuth, Laura (Edward) Bogart, the late John Muzzin, Mary (Bob) Haack, Amy (Gary) Krans and the late Elizabeth (Beth) Muzzin. She is proceeded in death by her loving husband Arthur, her parents William and Laura Rule, two children John and Beth Muzzin, two grandchildren Victor Muzzin Jr. and Christopher Krans. Besides her remaining children she leaves behind 28 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. Betty was loved and will be missed by all.
A funeral mass for Elizabeth Muzzin will be held at Our Lady of the Angels in Taylor, Michigan on Friday, March 17th at 10:00 am. A visitation will be held at the Our Lady of the Angels Church on Friday, March 17th from 9:00-10:00 am. Burial will take place in the Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery.
