As received from Memorial Chapel Funeral and Cremation Service:
Toivola – Edward Lorenz (Ed), went home with Our Lord on July 23, 2022. He carried this in his wallet: Psalm 71:18” Even when I am old and gray, Do Not Forsake Me, O God, til I declare Your Power to the next generation, Your might to all who are to come.” A life well lived with many wonderful folks and abundant miracles through the many years, graced Ed’s life.
Helping, whether teaching, in community service, prayer groups, coffee shops, building Hot Rods or Hunting, Ed had much love for others and would help whoever he could. He will be greatly missed by us all.
Until we can all be together when we cross over, Ed leaves behind his wife of 50 years, two sons, two daughters, three grandchildren, two brothers and his extended and his adopted families. Ed has a special passion for those he taught and for the Jeffers Basketball team.
John 14:16 Jesus said “I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor, Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), to be with you forever.” To remember where ALL our Help comes from …God Bless you all.
Services will be held Friday July 29, 2022, at Holy Family Catholic Church of South Range at: 11:00 am. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Burial will follow the church luncheon, at the Chassell Cemetery with Military honors conducted by the Copper Country Veterans Association., for all those who would like to attend.
