Donald L. Koski, age 74 of L’Anse, MI passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Donald was born on January 13, 1948, the son of the late Arvid and Beatrice (Marksman) Koski. Donald graduated from L’Anse High School. He married the former Nancy Perrow in Baraga, MI on July 20, 1974. Donald was a member of the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community and was employed as a commercial fisherman. He enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, mud dragging, and had played baseball for various area teams. Donald loved his dogs.
Donald is survived by his loving wife Nancy of L’Anse, children Daniel (Cherie) Koski of L’Anse, Brandy (Tom) Chosa of Baraga and Rhea Koski (Lance Curtis) of Zeba, grandchildren Tony, Brianna, Brandon, Kayla, Deija, Keira, Alice, Brady, Lance Jr., Paige and Devin, great-grandchildren Brooks and Hayes. He was preceded in death by is parents, sister Donna Koski and great grandson Max.
A private family celebration of Donald’s life will be held.
