Delores Jeanette Mervar, age 86 of Sterling Heights, MI passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Bayside Village in L’Anse where she had been residing since 2018.
Delores was born February 22, 1934 in Skanee, MI daughter of George and Hazel (Barnett) Loosemore. She graduated from L’Anse High School in 1951. Delores married Emanuel Mervar on August 11, 1951 in Skanee, MI. They resided in Sterling Heights where they raised their family. After raising her family, she returned to work at Beaumont Hospitals until retiring 10 years later. Delores loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving are her children, Gerald Mervar of Norway, MI, Scott (Marion) Mervar of Macomb, MI, Shelley (William) Bowen of Sterling Heights, MI, Craig (Michele) Mervar of Shelby Twp, MI; brother Wesley Loosemore of Skanee, MI, sister Bernice Hunt of Chicago, IL; grandchildren, Jason, Jeremy, Ashley, McKenzie, Lydia; 10 great grandchildren/ and a special companion Robert Stoll of Skanee, MI.
Preceding her in death are her parents; husband Emanuel Mervar; and grandson Shayne.
There will be no funeral service at this time. Jacobson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
