Obituary: Debra Beiring

Lake Linden: Debra “Debbie” Beiring, 68, of Lake Linden passed away at the Lighthouse at Hancock on May 5, 2020.

                She was born on September 6, 1951, a daughter of Leonard and Lucille (Zubiena) Crouch.  She attended Saint Joseph Catholic School and graduated from Lake Linden-Hubbell High School in 1969.  In her younger years she enjoyed bowling and was on the women’s fastpitch softball team, which won a state championship.

                Debbie worked at Our Lady of Mercy, Louie’s Super Valu, Vollwerth’s, and Toni’s Country Kitchen, retiring in 2016.

                She was married to Richard “Dick” Beiring on April 22, 1972, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lake Linden.  He passed away on January 20, 2016. 

                Debbie was a fan of “Lakes” sports.  She followed the Detroit Tigers and the Green Bay Packers.  She enjoyed watching her favorite TV shows, reading, playing games on her tablet, scratching lottery tickets, and going for rides in the car with her husband, Dick.  

                She was preceded in death by: her parents, her husband-Richard, infant brother-Brad, nephew-John, and brother-in-law-Larry.

                Debbie is survived by: daughter-Kim (Scott) Codere of Lake Linden; 3 granddaughters-Bailey of South Carolina, and Morgan and Kirsten of Lake Linden; 8 brothers and sisters-Lennet (Dave) Piippo, Sandy Rheault, Drew (Amee) Crouch, John (Paula) Crouch, Randy (Kathy) Crouch, Sherry (Peter) Stevens, Chris (Nancy) Crouch, and JoAnn (Fred) Testa; uncle-Ron (Janice) Crouch; aunt-Josephine Zubiena; sisters and brothers-in-law-Ed (Darlene) Beiring, Albert (Pat) Beiring, Mary Anne (Phil) Verville, and Jean (Tom) Dutcher; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The graveside service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, June 29, 2020 at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Lake Linden. The Peace Funeral Home in Lake Linden is in charge of arrangements.
