David Lee Hebner, 83, a resident of Dollar Bay, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2024, at Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital in Laurium.
David was born on July 10, 1941, in Hancock, to the late Charles and Beatrice (Joyal) Hebner. He was raised in Dollar Bay and graduated from the Dollar Bay High School with the class of 1959.
Mr. Hebner enlisted with the United States Navy in 1959 and served until 1961. On December 8, 1962, he was united in marriage to the former Audrey Joyal.
David enjoyed the outdoors, especially farming. He was a member of the Dollar Bay Fire Department, the Lake Linden VFW and owned and operated Hebner’s Market in Dollar Bay.
He is survived by wife Audrey, his children Linda, Debbie, Ron, and Doug along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
