Christian Mihangel Lester, youngest son and tenth child born to Michael and Miracle Lester of Laurium. Delivered physically on Earth to his parents’ arms on June 14, 2019, having spiritually ascended to the arms of The Father in Heaven.
“Behold, he is not here, for he has risen.”
Christian has been dearly cherished by his family during his short life. Although he did not survive to birth, he was treasured during an entire pregnancy. He will be greatly missed by all those who love him!
Doomed by worldly society as “incompatible with life,” yet deemed in the sight of The Creator as “perfectly and wonderfully made.” Christian will remain eternally beautiful and precious to his loved ones.
Deepest appreciation goes out to family and friends who willingly gave encouragement and assistance during the entire journey of Christian’s visit. Also of worthy merit are the generous and thoughtful members of Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital, who provided medical and personal services with dignity and respect through the transition of birth and death. Much gratitude is expressed for the humane manner of service provided by the Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home of Calumet, during the final care of this beloved child.
May all these efforts of compassion and kindness be blessed and honored.

There will be a graveside gathering held on Saturday, June 22, 4:00 PM at the Waasa Cemetery. Those who value life and believe in Jesus Christ are welcome to attend.
