Chris Ann Paulos, age 69 of L’Anse, Mi passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020 at Bayside Village in L’Anse. Chris was born on May 31, 1951, the daughter of Dorothy and Chris Paulos, in Detroit, MI. She lived in Detroit until the age of 14. Her parents then moved to L’Anse and Chris attended and graduated from L’Anse High School in 1969. While in school she excelled at academics and was a top student. She was awarded the Betty Crocker Homemaker of the year at L’Anse High School. She laughed about that as she was not into cooking or baking but was intelligent enough to figure out the right answers on the written test.
After high school she attended college downstate. She made her home in L’Anse and had a beloved cat named Widget that she adored. Chris had many local friends. Chris was a true Christian friend. She was always available to listen and to pray for them. Living her life according to the teachings of the Catholic Church was foremost in Chris’ life. Father Corey attended to her spiritual needs. Those who preceded her in death include her parents Dorothy and Chris Paulos, and her brother David Paulos. Chris is survived by her Aunt Lucille Dollar from Gwinn, close friend and cousin, Lynn Ketola, many other cousins and special friends Bob, Linda, Debbie, Donna, Judy and Carol Lee. She has been greatly missed during her time away from her home and now Chris is on her journey to her eternal home. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held in the near future. A graveside service will be held in the spring in the Pequaming cemetery. Jacobson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
