Obituary: Charles Hippula

Charles Hippula, 50, a resident of Hancock passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at his home.

He was born on January 10, 1969 in Hancock to James and Carole (Paulson) Hippula. He attended the local schools.

Charles worked for Vitton Construction, Burcar Construction, and Moyle Construction for several years. He then moved to Iron Mountain for a few years.

Charles loved to go out camping and spending time outdoors. He also enjoyed going out fishing and snowmobiling. He often raced on his snowmobile with his kids.

Charles also loved spending time with his family. His grandson, Elliot was the light of his world! He loved spending as much time as he could with him.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents, James Hippula and Carole Fraki, his step-father John Fraki, and his infant brother, James Jr.

His sons: Bradley (Brianna) Hippula of Lake Linden
Ryan Hippula of Lake Linden
His daughter: Jessica (John) Hippula of Chassell

1 grandson, Elliot

Sister: Lori (Dave) White of Calumet

Special pets: Tucker and Roxie

And several nephews, nieces, great nieces, and cousins.

Per Charles’ request, cremation has taken place, and private family services were held.
