Casper Sorvala, 78, a resident of Hubbell, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at the Omega House in Houghton.
A graveside service with Military Rites will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, July 2, 2018 at the Lake View Cemetery in Section 62, with Pastor Rodney Johnson to officiate

Casper Sorvala, 78, a resident of Hubbell, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at the Omega House in Houghton.
He was born on May 5, 1939, the son of Nick and Alma (Mattson) Sorvala in Calumet.
On May 21, 1990 he married Marie Ann Rozman in Hubbell.
Per Casper’s request, no services will be held at this time.
A committal service will be planned in the spring at the Lake View Cemetery in Calumet.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Omega House, 2211 Maureen Lane, Houghton, MI 49931.
