Carolyn Huhta, 74, a resident of Calumet passed away on Saturday October 30, 2021 at U.P. Health System Portage.
She was born on September 25, 1947 in Detroit a daughter of the late Henry and Marie (Feiten) Whyte.
On December 11, 1965 she was united in marriage to Robert L. Huhta.
She loved to do various crafts and made many different jams and jellies and was known in the area as the Jam Lady.
Preceding her in death were her siblings: Peggy, Betty, Patricia, Allen and Dick.
Surviving are: Her husband Bob
Sons: Norman (Kathy) Huhta of Calumet
Jeff (Kim) Huhta of Clarkston, MI
5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren
2 sisters: Sharon (Bob) Keating of Brighton, MI
Marie (Craig) Campbell of Brighton, MI
Visitation will be on Thursday November 4, 2021 from 4-7 PM in the Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home in Calumet.
