Caleb Michael Lynum, a loving and talented young man passed away at the age of 24, with his family by his side
Caleb was born August 14th, 1998, in Dixon Illinois to Scott and Christine Lynum. He was raised in Rhinelander WI and L’Anse MI, eventually settling in Calumet MI. Caleb was very hard working and artistic, he would spend hours tinkering in the garage designing and making incredible pieces of art, followed by hours of running around outside exploring and immersing himself in nature. He was a thoughtful and intelligent person, filled with passion and curiosity, taking pride in what he did whether it was making an elaborate meal for those he loved or spending hours on a new drawing. He is remembered fondly for his carefree nature, love for adventure and beautiful ability to create and inspire with his artwork and projects. Caleb is survived by his father Scott and mother Christine, his three older brothers Grayson and Eryn Lynum, Mitchell and Anna Lynum, Jacob and Angie Lynum, younger sister Erika Lynum, girlfriend Anna Mills, grandfather Gordon Thompson, Grandmother Carole Lynum, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and niece. Preceded in death by Grandmothers Janet Selin, Lora Lee Thompson, and grandfather, Palmer Lynum.
A memorial service will be held to honor and remember his life on September 25th, 2022 in L’Anse at The Zeba Community Hall in L’Anse from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
