Brooklyn Marie Peterson, 12, a resident of Atlantic Mine passed away suddenly Thursday, November 17, 2022, from complications of Trisomy 18.
Brooklyn was born on July 28, 2010, in Hancock. The Daughter and beam of sunlight to Joel and Tammi (Poynter) Peterson. She was raised in Atlantic Mine and currently was attending the Hancock Elementary School.
Brooklyn Loved going to school and being with her friends and teachers. Her smile would light up a room the moment she entered. She also enjoyed listening to music and being with her niece and nephew.
Preceding her in death were her maternal grandfather Jack Poynter, Her great- grandma Jo, Her great grandma Baakko and Her great grandma Poynter.
Surviving are: Her parents: Joel and Tammi Peterson; Her brother: Derek (Ashley) Peterson; Her sister: Meghan (Sawyer) Kehus and their children; Her Maternal grandmother: Cheri Poynter; Her paternal grandparents: Gilmore & Patricia Peterson; Her special grandmother: Donna Sporbert; Her special person: Lisa Sportbert; Her Aunts & Uncles: Chris & Tammie Peterson, Matt Peterson, Kerri (Tim) Sleeman, & Cheri (Scott) Lampinen; Her cousins: Adalee, Krew, Corinna, Abigail (Dylan), Andrew and Mason; Her Grandma Pam Kobus; Numerous other family and many friends
A service for Brooklyn will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at the Memorial Chapel Funeral & Cremation Service – Hancock Chapel with Frank Falcon Sr. to officiate.
Friends may call on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, from 11:00 am until time of services at the Memorial Chapel Funeral & Cremation Service – Hancock Chapel.
