Calumet: Anthony Paul Shepeard, 27, of Calumet, passed away in a tragic automobile accident, on April 20, 2022. He was born on February 1, 1995 in Hancock, a son of Tony and Carrie (Laho) Shepeard.
He graduated from Calumet High School where he participated in track and football. He earned a scholarship for a program in welding.
He worked for Keweenaw Overhead Door and S & S Concrete. He owned and operated ASL Entertainment and Event Planning, his musical production company. He was also a director at the Calumet Music Festival and was in the process of earning his Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Production.
He was a member of the Keweenaw Disc Golf League.
Music was his life; the only thing that was greater to him was his daughter.
He was preceded in death by: his mother-Carrie and grandfather-Anthony Paul Shepeard.
He is survived by: his daughter-Vanessa, father-Tony (Nikki) Shepeard, grandparents-Randy and Kathy Crouch and Dan and Val Laho; siblings-Emma Anderson, Alec (Emily) Cummings, Niami Shepeard, Varon Shepeard, Daniel Shepeard, and Randell Shepeard; Aunt-Jill (Mike-deceased) Stoyanoff; uncles-Jeff Shepeard and Randell (Victoria) Crouch; Vanessa’s mother and a friend-Sarah (Stu) Stewart; along with many other relatives.
The Memorial Service will be at 6:00 P.M. on Monday, April 25 at the Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden with Pastor Brian Knight to officiate. Visitation will be from 4:30 until the start of the memorial service on Monday at the funeral home.
Memorials in lieu of other expressions of sympathy may be made to the Shepeard Family to assist with the final expenses.
