Alan Thomas Yowell 52 of L’Anse, MI passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday April 17,2020.
He was born in Hancock, MI on July 14,1967 to Delores (John) Makela and George (Gayle) Yowell. Growing up in Dodgeville, Mi and Later making his home in L’Anse. He made his way in life as an experienced welder working for various area businesses.
He left this world wanting people to remember him for who he was, not what he had. He left behind a world of people who have some great stories to tell. Beautiful memories to hold on to. Knowing that his love for music will be remembered when a song comes on, his loud raspy voice will always be singing along. When his brother-in- law goes to weld the doors on his next demo car, Alan will be there. His friends will forever miss Allybubby and his goofy ways, his phone calls that would last for hours… One last 4 wheeler ride…these were the things that Alan had… Memories with his family and friends.
He will be sadly missed by his step father John Makela, his children Troy Mayer, Chelsea (Justin) Yowell, Tyler(Tabitha) Yowell. his precious granddaughter Aricka. His dog Jack’s His sisters Laurie (Richard) Richards, Tamara Bruneau, Tonya(Joe) Mihelich, Tarri (Joe) Funke. Step mother Gayle Yowell. Numerous nephew ,nieces, cousins aunt’s, and uncles. Also many friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother Delores and his father George, and grand parents.
At this time due to the virus there will be no service. The family has plans for a celebration of Alan’s life as soon as we are able to. The Jacobson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
