Ada Tofanelli, of Calumet, Michigan passed away on September 8th holding hands with her daughter and granddaughter after suffering a stroke.
Ada was born and raised in London, England then moved to the states in her 20’s. She acquired dual citizenship and spent her life living in both England and the States with her husband, Earl and three children. She retired from working at Still Waters Memory Care in Calumet, Michigan in her 60’s and lived the rest of her life the UP of Michigan. She spent her time traveling, crafting, movie collecting, and sharing experiences with her daughter Becky, and son in-law Brian.
Ada is Preceded in death by her husband, Earl Tofanelli; brother John, sisters Lilian, Edna, Grace, and Rosemary; and her granddaughter, Amber Tofanelli.
Ada is survived by Her daughters, Teresa Marshall, Becky (Brian) Macomber and her son Steve Tofanelli, Grandchildren Anthony (Annie) Marshall, Ady (Viki) Marshall, Jenny Liddle, Madison Tofanelli, Sophie Tofanelli, and Leann (Charles) Fogle whom she shared a special relationship with.
Ada is also survived by her great grandchildren: Erin Marshall, Florence Marshall, Oliver Marshall, Inari Liddle, Kailyn Liddle, Freya Liddle, Arlen Liddle, Whitney Fogle, Charlie Fogle, and Georgia Fogle.
Per Ada’s request, there will not be a service or memorial. Instead, the family asks that you fondly remember Ada for the great stories she shared, her classic English sayings, and her love for her family.
