Betsy: Keith “The Trapper” Marjamaa, 70, of Betsy, passed away on September 4, 2017, at The Houghton County Medical Care Facility.
He was born on October 24, 1946 in Calumet, a son of Bill and Eleanor (Gariepy) Marjamaa. He graduated from Calumet High School. He worked for C&H Mining Co.
He was an avid hunter and trapper and a bear guide.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister-Therese.
Keith is survived by two children-Clint (Alina) Marjamaa on Manitowoc, WI and Lisa (Brian Hauswirth) Marjamma of Lake Linden.
As requested by the deceased, there will be no public services. The Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden is in charge of arrangements.
