Henry Melvin Madosh

Henry Melvin Madosh, age 65 of Baraga, MI passed away on Wednesday, July 26th at his home.

He was born October 12, 1951 in Marquette, MI son of Richard and Elsie (Ketchum) Madosh.
Henry grew up in Marquette and spent over 20 years with the Skerbeck Brothers Carnival, and then as a chef at the casino in Mt. Pleasant prior to moving back to Baraga 3 years ago.

Henry was a member of KBIC, Ojibwa Seniors, and AIM. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling, and Native American culture.

Surviving are twin sons, Peter Niemi of Tampa, FL and Paul (Jada) Niemi of Marinette, MI; siblings, Dorothy Gove, Linda (Louis) Rabitaille, Maggie (Ron) McDaniels all of Marquette, George (Cindy) Madosh of Ishpeming, Bernadette (Jeff) Sharp of Little Lake, MI, Beverly (Craig of Gwinn) Girard of Baraga, Sara Lee Remick of Marquette, Jacqueline (Dennis Liquia) Madosh of Palmer, MI, Michelle Madosh of Fort Wayne, IN, David (LeAnne) Madosh of Zeba; and 7 grandchildren.

Preceding him in death are his parents; brother Richard Madosh Jr, numerous aunts and uncles.

On Friday, August 4th at 3 p.m. there will be a feast at the Superior View Senior Living Complex in Baraga, and on Saturday, August 5th from 1-4 p.m. there will be a feast at the Ojibwa Community Building in Marquette.
