Debra Ann (Lundy) Niemela, age 62 of L’Anse, MI passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at Bayside Village in L’Anse.
She was born June 6, 1955 in L’Anse, daughter of Dennis and RuthAnn (Fredrickson) Lundy. Debra graduated from L’Anse High School in 1973. She worked for Home Care Medical in Milwaukee, and then owned a pasty Shop in Sheboygan, WI. Debra moved to Norway, MI and was the head cook at the Norway Senior Center. She enjoyed crafting, painting, gardening, cooking, and spending time with family and B.J.
Surviving are her daughters, Bobbi (Gerhard) Davig of Caledonia, WI, Brooke (Timothy) Tadysak of West Allis, WI; grandchildren, Noah Suprna, Jasmine and Sydney Tadysak; mother RuthAnn Lundy; brothers Dennis (Cynthia) Lundy and Robert Lundy both of L’Anse; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father Dennis Lundy.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday July 5th from 10-11:30 a.m. at the Jacobson Funeral Home.
