WUPHD Says Ebola is Not a Threat in the U.P.

These days, the national discussion has been regarding the recent Ebola situation in the United States and many health officials are trying their best to educate the public about this so-called “outbreak”. But is that what it is? Dr. Terry Frankovich from the Western U.P. Health Department says unless you traveled to the affected countries or have come into contact with an Ebola patient, there is nothing to worry about.

So in what ways is Michigan staying vigilant against the threat of the disease?
