Winter Trails Day Means Free Skiing/Snowshoeing At Swedetown Trails Sunday

If you’ve been meaning to hit the trails this winter and just haven’t gotten around to it, then Sunday is your day.

That’s because January 10th is Winter Trails Day, a national event meant to encourage people to get involved in winter sports.

Swedetown Trails Club President Cynthia MacDonald says you can ski and snowshoe for free on their trails in Calumet.

Rental equipment is also free and available on a first come-first serve basis.

The event will be held Sunday from noon to 5:00pm.
