The winter storm made for some stressful travel at Michigan airports.
Hundreds of flights out of Detroit Metropolitan Airport were either delayed or canceled due to the winter storm that brought snow, freezing rain and high winds to much of Lower Michigan.
Several flights were also delayed or canceled at the Gerald R. Ford International Airport in Grand Rapids.
Over 900 flights were canceled nationwide due to the winter storm that’s moving over the Midwest.
About a third of those flights were at Chicago’s two main airports.
