Where Is The Road Money?

So…how are the roads?

With the spring thaw, work crews have been busy patching potholes, which may bring one to ask–where is all that money that was approved by the legislature last year to fix the roads?

State Senator Tom Casperon says most of the money won’t be available for the first couple of years, one of the problems with the proposal.

Casperson says this way, however, more local contractors will have a shot at getting awarded the jobs over out-of-state bidders.

Casperson says it’s also important that the state doesn’t wait too long to spend the bulk of the road money either.
