Water Main Fixed

A water main break in Houghton County over the weekend is fixed.

The break in the line, which services Adams Township, Portage Township and the city of Hancock, was identified Sunday.

Water was still available though residents had been encouraged to conserve water until the repairs were completed.

The Houghton County Emergency Coordinator gave the all-clear Sunday evening.
