UPSET makes drug arrests in Iron County

The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team arrested four individuals on multiple drug counts Wednesday in Iron River. Three males and one female were taken into custody. They were charged with delivery/manufacturing of controlled substances including Ritalin, Oxycodone, Morphine and Heroin. All four individuals reside in the Iron River area. UPSET detectives also arrested a 24-year-old male from Milwaukee, Wisc. on Nov. 6 for delivery and/or manufacturing of cocaine and morphine. Dijon Lovonte Carter was already in police custody in Wisconsin on weapons charges. He has already been arraigned in the 95th District Court. All four of the recently arrested individuals are being held at this time pending arraignment in the 95th District Court.
