Anyone who spends time in the Keweenaw will be undoubtedly be moved by the beauty of its landscape.
Even more so for poets like Michael Finch.
The Midwestern native spent time in the Upper Peninsula and that experience was in part the inspiration for his new book “Finding Home.”
Finch now lives in California and he has seen his share of natural beauty in different parts of the United States.
But it’s the memories of the U.P. that have stuck with him and led him to pen poems such as “Snow Cover” and “Superior”.
Finch’s book, “Finding Home” is available on Amazon and he will be a guest on an upcoming episode of Copper Country Today.
