Upper Michigan Water Company Issues Boil Advisory for Mohawk While Water System Work Occurs

The Upper Michigan Water Company announces a boil advisory and water shut off for the Mohawk area. Today the Upper Michigan Water Company announced it will conduct water system improvements on Wednesday (August 14th) in Mohawk, Fulton and Seneca areas, and will shut off water services between 10 am and 3pm.

At this time the company says customers will need to take precautions and boil water before use. The boil advisory will remain in effect until test show no evidence of bacterial contamination. Bring water to a rolling boil for one minute. Let the water cool before use.

Please flush all taps for approximately 10 minutes when service is restored.
