UPHS to Open Express Care in Calumet

UP Health System – Portage is opening an Express Care clinic in Calumet. The clinic will be located at the Upper Great Lakes Family Health Center on US-41. It will be open Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. The clinic will treat patients with minor illnesses or injuries. Emergency Department and Express Care Director Dr. Tara Robinette said the base fee of $55.00 is cheaper than a trip to the emergency room. Patients will be checked-in and treated on a first-come-first-served basis.
