A grant opportunity has opened up for those with an interest in quality environmental education. The Upper Peninsula Environmental Coalition has announced that a grant is now being made available to educators and youth workers who are involved in these types of programs with K-12 students as well as those in preschool. This fund offers grants of up to $500 for the 2015 calendar year. Nine projects were funded during 2014. The deadline to submit applications is Monday January 5th. For more information, click here.
