Seasonally unadjusted unemployment rates in April decreased in all 17 of Michigan’s major labor market areas.
The Department of Technology, Management & Budget says total employment levels increased over the month in nearly all areas, while labor force levels declined moderately in the majority of regions.
The Ann Arbor area had the state’s lowest jobless rate in April at 3.2 percent while Northeast Lower Michigan had the highest at 7.6 percent.
