U.P. Roadside Parks Closing This Month

Most roadside parks operated by the Michigan Department of Transportation in the Upper Peninsula will close for the season starting a week from Monday.

However, the two parks located in Keweenaw County will close this Monday.

MDOT maintains 32 roadside parks in the U.P.

They usually close in late October and reopen in mid- to late April.
