Law enforcement authorities in Minnesota are continuing their investigation into the death of an Upper Peninsula man. 21-year-old Chaz Michael Havenor was shot by two officers from the police department in Ramsey, Minnesota, about 30 miles north of Minneapolis. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension says the Ramsey officers approached a suspicious vehicle Thursday afternoon, and asked Havenor to get out. The officers say Havenor did get out, but immediately ran away. They chased him until he turned and pointed a handgun at them, at which time, they both fired and hit him. Havenor was pronounced dead at a hospital in Coon Rapids. The BCA says Havenor’s last known address was in Marenisco, although his Facebook page indicates he was living in Marquette.
